Response: Covid-19

As a grocery store and "essential" business, we do not have any plans to close our shop.

We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our community and provide employment for our staff during this unprecedented and challenging time.  There is a lot at stake right now between the physical and economic health of our community, and we believe it is our kuleana to do everything possible to avoid subjecting our community to unnecessary risk and exposure.  We aim to do this while still providing you fresh, local food which, in turn, supports our local farmers and makers who are still farming and making their hearts out.

Here are some of the changes we have implemented in response to the COVID-19 outbreak:

  •  Curbside, "no contact" pick-up available

  • Grocery ordering is available online and by phone

  •  High-touch surfaces and common areas are cleaned and disinfected every morning

  •  We practice and enforce social distancing

  •  No more than 6 customers may be in the shop at a time

  •  We accept and encourage contactless payment methods

  •  The front door of our shop remains unlatched for hands-free entry

  •  All of our staff have been offered 2-weeks paid sick leave and know to stay home if they feel unwell

  • If not fully vaccinated, our staff members undergo weekly Covid testing

We will continue to update and modify our practices to address this ongoing and ever-changing circumstance.
