Whole, fresh lilikoʻi (passion fruit). A local favorite for its concentrated sweet, citrusy, tart flavor. Think of tangy, fragrant lemon mixed with a honeyed tangerine, and you've got an idea of what's packed into these lovely yellow orbs. The pulp and seeds of lilikoʻi can be eaten, or the pulp can be strained to release just the juice. If straining, it's helpful to freeze the pulp first, as this breaks down the pulp and makes it easier to get all that scrumptious juice out.
