Koko Kai's coconut yogurt is not only super tasty but it’s made with whole organic fruits and spices from the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. We believe that simpler is better so we use only non-GMO, organic & plant-based ingredients. Our yogurt has no dairy and is 100% vegan. On top of that, it’s gluten-free and full of friendly probiotics!
Our honey is made right here in Hawaii by our little bee friends, nature's finest confectioners, working hard in select Macadamia nut farms, to make some of the finest honey available. Macadamia honey produced in Hawaii tends to have a much higher concentration of macadamia pollen and nectar than macadamia honey produced elsewhere. As a result, Hawaiian macadamia honey is light in color, nutty in flavor, and floral in aroma.
The benefits of honey are not confined to just sweetening your favorite desserts. Other benefits include being a good source of antioxidants, high in antibacterial and antifungal properties, and being a phytonutrient powerhouse, as well as a help for digestive issues. For us here at Koko Kai Yogurt, we think that perhaps the greatest benefit of all is that it matches so perfectly with our coconut yogurt, combining flavors to create a delicious, subtly sweet yogurt that is smooth, creamy, and packed with probiotics.
Benefits of Coconut Yogurt
Our Coconut yogurt is made with a custom blend of probiotics that help regulate intestinal microflora and improve immune function. Probiotics also decrease the prevalence of allergies in susceptible individuals, inhibit the inflammatory responses in the gut, and have antagonistic effects against intestinal and food-borne pathogens
Much of the saturated fat in coconut yogurt is in the form of medium-chain triglycerides, which can help control weight, reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, and boost immunity.
Coconut yogurt is a good source of bone-building calcium with between 25 and 30 percent of the daily value in each 6-ounce serving. You’ll also get between 25 and 30 percent of the daily value for magnesium, a mineral essential for muscle function. A serving of coconut yogurt supplies between 25 and 30 percent of the daily value for vitamin B-12, crucial for red blood cell production, and vitamin D, vital for calcium absorption.
